The Edwards family is responsible for this craziness, the good part is that the music only plays on the peoples radios that come by to see the display.
Here is what the homeowner had to say about his massive display.
Over 8,500 lights and roughly 1066 channels of computer animation. This is a personal hobby and not a business. Edwards Landing Lights is simply the name we gave to our holiday display on our house. Viewers tune in their car's FM radio to "hear the lights". No music is broadcast outside. Most of the lights used in the display are energy efficient LEDs. We estimate the electric bill for the display at $25-$35 to run the display for the Halloween season.
