Earlier today (August 6), it was reported that The Weeknd (real name Abel Tesfaye) and Bella Hadid had called it quits (again); however, a source close to the couple is telling Entertainment Tonight! is refuting those rumors, insisting that they're still together and trying to work things out.

According to the insider, the R&B star and supermodel "haven't broken up, but are working through things like normal couples do."

"The couple travels a lot, works a lot and that often creates tension," the source said. "However, the two love one another, have lost one another in the past and want to try and make it work."

"Right now they are together and working on keeping it that way," they added.

Initial reports of the break up cited arguments and an inability to spend quality time due to busy career schedules as the couple's reasons for calling it quits. But this isn't the first time they've hit a rough patch. Tesfaye and Hadid's relationship has seen its ups and downs. The couple initially broke up in 2016 before rekindling their romance in 2018. During an interview with Vogue in December, Hadid gushed over her boyfriend, saying he's the most beautiful person she knows and that he makes her "laugh the hardest."
