If you are like my family you get really annoyed at those loud commercials during your favorite TV shows. Well now is the time to report them and get them to turn down the volume.The CALM Act, which limits the volume of TV commercials, went into effect on December 13th.

CALM stands for Commercial Advertisement Loudness Mitigation. The act is designed to prevent TV commercials from blaring at louder volumes than the program content they accompany, and it applies to broadcasters as well as cable and satellite operators. The FCC adopted the rule a year ago, but gave the industry a one-year grace period.
