Have you met Donder? Donder is a sweet female Basset Hound that has been at the Texarkana Animal Care and Adoption Center waiting for her fur-ever home since last year.

Wouldn't it be awesome to find this baby her forever home?

Introducing Donder

Texarkana Animal Care and Adpotion Center

She came to the shelter back in November of 2020. That means she has been at the shelter for about 2750 days that's a long time for a human so it's got to be an eternity to a dog. Donder would make a wonderful companion or addition to the family. She is about one year old and is good with children and other dogs but they aren't sure about cats.  Donder is described as playful and sweet, but it seems she just gets overlooked by potential owners.

Cupid has been at the shelter almost as long as Donder

Cupid is another one that has been there almost as long as Donder. Cupid came to the shelter back in January of this year. So she's been there for about 215 days. Still, just way too long for a dog to go without a forever home with treats and hugs several times a day. Cupid is a lab mix that is good with other dogs and she's good with kids too. She is only about one year old. She is not overly energetic and she isn't overly shy either.
