Tim Lambert, Principal of Texas Middle School, has been selected to represent the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals as the Region VIII Outstanding Middle School Principal of the Year.

The first week of student pick-up and drop-off at the Texas Middle School new sixth grade school has been a learning curve for parents.

Texas Middle School has a brand new sixth grade school. That's right, an entire school building was built just for the sixth grade. The drop off this morning was a bit challenging since it is a new routine for everyone, including the school administrators. It took between 20 and 25 minutes from the time we got in line to the time we were back in regular traffic.

Groundbreaking ceremonies will be held Wednesday, April 8, for a new addition to the Texas Middle School.
