Barrel Racing at the 71st Four States Fair and Rodeo was exciting every night of the rodeo. The horse and rider team race around the barrels hoping not to knock them down while trying for the shortest time.

The Four States Fair is less than two weeks away. We'll kick off the fun at our Power 95-9 Street Dance on Friday, Sept. 11, on the Outdoor Stage. Of course, the midway will open a bit earlier in the afternoon. Check out the schedule of events below.

The Four States Fair parade is on Saturday, September 12, 2015 in Downtown Texarkana beginning at 10 a.m.

The Texarkana Drill Team performed at the Four States Fair and Rodeo each night beginning at 7:10 p.m. My sister and several friends ride in the group. I tried it one year--I kind of stunk it up so I decided to watch rather than participate.
