Back in 2005, Maroon 5 headlined the Honda Civic Tour. This year, they're back, and they're bringing Kelly Clarkson along for the ride.  The two acts kick off this year's installment of the Honda Civic tour, which has been running since 2001, Thursday night in St. Louis, Missouri.

Maroon 5 and Kelly Clarkson will hit the road Thursday on this year's Honda Civic Tour, but the group is also working on new music.  Despite the fact that their album Overexposed is still spinning off hits, guitarist James Valentine says the follow-up album is already underway.

Maroon 5's album Overexposed has been tremendously successful, spinning off huge hits like "Payphone," "Daylight" and "One More Night."  The group has started work on their next record, but Adam Levine says the band plans to go in a slightly different musical direction on this one.

How's this for a blockbuster double bill?  Maroon 5 and Kelly Clarkson are hitting the road together. The two acts are teaming up for the 2013 Honda Civic Tour, which is now in its 12th year.  It kicks off August 1 in St. Louis, Missouri and will run through early October.

Any woman who dates Adam Levine and there have been many, let's be real -- probably figures she'll be wined, dined and taken to all the nicest places.  But according to the Maroon 5 singer, he likes to impress his women by taking them out...to McDonalds.
