Although Macklemore & Ryan Lewis might not have been able to attend this year's People's Choice Awards, that didn't stop the duo from winning Favorite Hip-Hop Artist at the ceremony Wednesday night (Jan. 8).

Over the 44 years Sesame Street has been on the air, a long list of top music stars have made guest appearances.  For the show's upcoming 45th season, which starts in September of 2014, that list will include two more names: Ed Sheeran and Macklemore.

Hip-hop and R&B was well represented on the final day of the Made In America music festival Sunday (Sept. 1) in Philadelphia. On a blistering hot day, Macklemore, Solange, Kendrick Lamar, Miguel and Wiz Khalifa brought the heat to the summer stage.

Tonight (Aug. 25) at the 2013 MTV VMAs, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis received an award for Best Hip-Hop Video, but that’s not all! The dynamic duo also won Best Video With a Social Message for their hit single, ‘Same Love.’

They've been ruling the charts all year, and now, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis will be bringing their music to their fans live, all across the U.S.  The duo have announced a fall tour that kicks off October 22 in Portland, Oregon and wraps in their hometown of Seattle in December.

Nothing is holding back rap superstars Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. The Seattle duo has the rap game on lock right now. So it's only right that they grace the new cover of RESPECT. magazine.

Macklemore and Ryan Lewis had the highest anticipated performance of the 2013 MTV Movie Awards, and undoubtedly the most energetic and entertaining.

So far, 2013 has been tag poppin' awesome for Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, thanks to their hit "Thrift Shop," which has now set a sales record.
