The Literacy Council of Bowie and Miller County presents its 'Spelling Bee' at the Truman Arnold Center in Texarkana College Saturday from 6 until 9 PM.

The 24th Annual Corporate Spelling Bee and Silent Auction is Friday 6 PM, at the Silvermoon on Broad in downtown Texarkana.

We always see kids perform in spelling bees, but what about for us adults? If your a good speller or want to see just how good you are? The Literacy Council of Bowie and Miller Counties is having their 20th Annual Spelling Bee this Saturday!

Don't miss the Zombie Run this Saturday in Spring Lake Park! All of the fun starts at 4 p.m. The first annual Don't Look Back! Zombie Run is this Saturday, Oct. 26, benefiting the Literacy Council of Bowie and Miller Counties, Inc. The event will be held at Spring Lake Park starting at 4 p.m. with the kids' activities. The run will happen at 5 p.m.
