There is a new Facebook scam going around and it has happened to me three times already.

Did a hacker get your personal information? Bloomberg is reporting that the credit reporting agency Equifax suffered a breach that may effect 143 million people.

A few of my friends have been hacked on Facebook recently. Their accounts were overtaken by someone they did not know who took that opportunity to attempt to get their friends to follow a link to probably even more malicious software (aka malware). Below is a list of ways to avoid having your Facebook account hacked.

With all of the news about credit cards being hacked, a new story from the better business bureau caught my attention.

Facebook spokesman Andrew Noyes, said "recently, we experienced a coordinated spam attack that exploited a browser vulnerability," "Our efforts have drastically limited the damage caused by this attack, and we are now in the process of investigating to identify those responsible." Noyes says users were "tricked into pasting and executing malicious javascript in their brows

If you saw her Facebook page yesterday morning, you would have read that comment along with a bunch of other posts containing vulgarities. But the star wasn't having a meltdown.
