On Wednesday, April 8, you can get a special treat from Texas Roadhouse! Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and all that is asked is that you donate at least $5 for each lunch. You can get it to go or dine in. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!

Talk about a good deed being punished. This summer, Angela Prattis has been handing out daily free lunches to about 60 kids in her Chester, PA neighborhood. These meals are the same ones they would be getting if their school was in session. Now she faces a fine of $600 a day for doing so because she doesn’t have a variance to serve food in a residential neighborhood.

There is a yard sale for the dogs, car show for domestic violence, a hamburger benefit and a wine and jazz gala as well as volunteer opportunities for all ages in Texarkana this week. Texas Roadhouse is sponsoring a FREE lunch with a donation TODAY (Thursday, March 29) from 11AM to 1PM for the humane society.
