The month of October always seems to bring out odd stories and bizarre occurrences that have happened in every state including Arkansas. Some you can explain some still remain a mystery today.

If you're going to be famous for something how cool is it to be famous for the movie "The Legend of Boggy Creek"? Can you say... Fouke Monster, Sasquatch, Bigfoot? Can you say the 50th anniversary of the movie premiere?

I stumbled across a video yesterday that caught my attention, one, because it involves Bigfoot, Sasquatch, Yeti, Fouke Monster, whatever you want to call it. Two, because the screams were recorded right here where we live in Miller County Arkansas.

The annual Fouke Monster Festival is set for Saturday, August 1, at the Arkansas Convention Center - Holiday Inn. The event which typically is held in June was recently rescheduled for August due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The movie "Boggy Creek Monster" which was recently previewed in Fouke, Ark. last month, has won Best Feature from Hollywood and received other awards as well.

There was a big announcement at the 3rd annual "Boggy Creek Festival" in Fouke. The Boggy Creek Monster will be featured in the next film in the Small Town Monsters, cryptid-documentary series. The film is titled Boggy Creek Monster and will focus on the history of Bigfoot sightings in and around the community of Fouke, Ark...
