Texarkana, Texas, and Bowie County residents who have been affected by the recent flooding event need to report damages to the State of Texas Department of Emergency Management so that a total damage cost estimate can be calculated.

The National Weather Service in Shreveport says widespread showers and a few embedded thunderstorms -- some producing locally heavy rainfall -- will continue to develop and spread north to northeast across much of the region over the next few hours.
