More than $73.3 million in FEMA assistance has been approved for survivors in Texas after the federal government declared the state a disaster area February 19.

Residents of Bowie County that were affected by the winter storm last month are eligible for Fema assistance can register now.

FEMA announced that federal emergency aid has been made available to the state of Arkansas to supplement state and local response efforts to the emergency conditions in the area affected by Hurricane Laura beginning Aug. 26, 2020, and continuing.
