Scary scenes in Lubbock, Texas last night after an explosion rocked campus, with green flames shooting out of manholes.

A dramatic manhole explosion rocked Texas Tech University in Lubbock on Wednesday, sending flames and smoke high into the sky while prompting safety measures across campus.

This could be the largest single loss of cattle in US history as over 18,000 dairy cows have been killed in a massive explosion and fire Monday in the Texas panhandle.

Six people were hospitalized, many homes were damaged and one was destroyed in an afternoon house explosion in Plano, Texas Monday.
