City of Ashdown

The Domtar Community Advisory Team, the City of Ashdown, and the Ashdown Community Foundation will be officially opening a new inclusive playground at the Ashdown City Park on Friday, November 18, at 1 p.m.

With a combination of a grant and partnership between the city of Ashdown, Little River County, and Ashdown Public Schools the three entities were able to provide sidewalks along Locust Street so that students walking or biking to school would have a safe way to travel.

The City of Ashdown will host their 4th annual auction on Saturday! Silent auctions, live auctions, penny auctions and a special prize raffle. From collegiate goodies to flatbed trailers--there is something for everyone.
