Our featured pet this week is a senior Australian Shepherd male.

Kingsolver has a way of winning your heart with his calm and loyal personality.

This sweet Lab male was left tied to the front of the shelter in January. He is so ready to be back in a home again, one that doesn't leave him abandoned at the shelter.

These two pups were having a blast playing the day I met them. They do not appear to be siblings and could easily be adopted into separate homes as they are not bonded. I received a warm welcome of paws and licks when I went into their play area.

This sweet Australian Shepherd mix is a joyful little boy. His coloring is very unique with his black coat and rust colored feet.

Grenade is a very sweet, young white pitt mix. He wants to please and is very friendly.

This beautiful two-toned brown dog appears to be a mix of a Chocolate Lab possibly mixed with Weimaraner. He is very sweet and loves affection. He also likes to play fetch.

This sweet and fun German Shepherd mix male is now up for adoption at the Texarkana, Ark., Animal Care and Adoption Center. He is young and already neutered.

Large breed dog lovers this is the dog for you. Bot is 1 year old and loves to be loved. He is a large dog that still thinks he can sit in your lap. Bot is a Boxer mixed with Great Dane. He is neutered, has a microchip, house trained, walks good on a leash, sits and shakes hands. You can adopt him for just $40. Here is Bot's story.

Adopt a cat from the shelter today. We usually feature dogs on our pet of the week so this week we decided to show some love to the felines at the animal shelter.
