One Direction and country crossover duo Florida Georgia Line are the latest acts added to the bill of the upcoming American Music Awards, which will air next month.

So far, the American Music Awards are shaping up to be a good night for Imagine Dragons.  The group scored the most nominations of any rock act at the upcoming event, which will take place on November 24 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, CA.

So what if the big closing number of the 40th Anniversary edition of the American Music Awards was a song sung in Korean, and the big winner was Canadian?  The fan-voted awards show, which aired Sunday night on ABC, still managed to pack a year's worth of hit songs in every genre into one blowout, three-hour telecast.

Ke$ha, Usher and No Doubt are the latest acts to join the lineup of this year's American Music Awards, airing November 18 on ABC.

Rihanna and Nicki Minaj are the leading nominees for the 40th Annual American Music Awards, announced this morning by Christina Aguilera.  Christina is the first artist confirmed to perform on the awards show, which will air November 18 on ABC.
