4th of july

Summertime is finally here and the 4th of July weekend is just around the corner that means family, food, fun, and fireworks.

The 4th of July is this weekend and we are all looking for a big fireworks show to go to this year. But what if the show was super short?

It's hard to believe that the 4 of July is just around the corner. Even though Covid-19 has changed some of the usual celebrations it hasn't stopped the fireworks. Here's a list of some of the fireworks displays that will be taking place around our area for our 4th of July.

With the 4th of July falling on a Wednesday The 4th of July holiday officially begins today. And here are all the fireworks shows going on in our area.

Sparks in The Park is Saturday, June 25, at the Four States Fairgrounds. So get your red, white and blue on and enter the Patriotic Costume Contest.

With the disappointment of the annual "Sparks in the Park show" being cancelled I looked on my phone for some of the other firework shows going on and found a video that made me feel better about the show being cancelled and I thought I would share it with you.

Today is Independence Day. Americans will be celebrating this mid-summer holiday at the lakes, in the pool, in the backyard with friends cooking out or just relaxing on vacation watching a fireworks show. But do you really know what you are celebrating?

When I saw the ingredients that went into making these I was intrigued and they look so good.  Red, white, and blue and not as much alcohol as you would think.

Normally the only downer of Fourth of July Festivities is the heat and humidity.

It's been a couple of years since we have been involved in the Sparks in the Park 4th of July celebration in Texarkana...But we are BACK!

It's about that time again. The wonderful time where you all decide that for the sake of your children or friends and family that you're going to be the master composer of a fireworks show. Whether it's going to be in your backyard, front yard or some random field you found, there are plenty of places in town to get what you need!
