Story Update:
The name of the deputy killed in that traffic stop early Tuesday morning near Carthage has been released along with his funeral information.
Panola County Deputy was shot in the early morning hours of Tuesday during a traffic stop on FM 10 near Carthage, Texas. The name of the officer has not been released at the time of this writing.
The Texarkana Texas Police Department arrested Gavin Baber, 20, of Texarkana Texas, for Aggravated Assault Causing Serious Bodily Injury on Saturday morning.
UPDATE: As a result of the dozens of tips that we got on this, we were able to identify this guy as 18-year-old Jaylan Hayes. There are now two Aggravated Robbery warrants for his arrest. If you know where TTPD can find him, please call 903-798-3116 or 911.
