‘Swamp People’ Star Dies in Louisiana [VIDEO]

Law enforcement officials in Louisiana report that one of the stars of the History Channel TV show “Swamp People” has died on the Belle River in Assumption Parish Louisiana.

TMZ reported that Mitchell was loading something in his boat, on the river when he fell.  It is believed he may have suffered a seizure, but nobody can say at this time if that contributed to his fall.  CPR was attempted, and Mitchell was transported to a hospital but was pronounced dead.

Mitchell Guist and his brother Glenn are a couple of fan favorites from the show.

Mitchell will be missed, but it is a blessing that he passed in the swamp doing what he loved.
