Shakira Has the Most-“Liked” Page on Facebook

The stats don't lie: Shakira has the most followed page on Facebook.

She now has 86.66 million "likes" on her official Facebook page. In a statement, she says she "cannot believe" she has the most-followed page.

Shakira adds, "I always wanted to have a lot of friends but never imagined it would be so many...86m!  So humbled, can't thank you guys enough for your support. I feel so fortunate to have you. Giant kiss!"

Shakira is firmly in the spotlight at the moment. Her new, self-titled album drops on Tuesday, and she will continue to appear on the current season of NBC's The Voice through the next two months.
