Sevier County Sheriff Looking for Female 'Person of Interest'

Update: February 10 - The suspect has been found and in custody.

Sevier County Sheriff's office along with Arkansas State Police and Special Agents are looking for a female 'Person of Interest' in a recent shooting.

The Sevier County Sheriff's Office made the announcement this week after they were called about a 57-year-old woman was being treated at a hospital in Texarkana for a gunshot wound to the head.

The shooting took place on Sunday, February 5. Once the investigation was underway, search warrants were received for the victim's house in Horatio, Arkansas.

Special Agents with the Arkansas State Police along with deputies and investigators with the Sevier County Sheriff's Office executed the search warrants. Evidence was collected and the investigation is still ongoing. The suspect wanted for questioning in regard to this incident is 28-year-old Kaylee Cornet.
