See Breathtaking 'Hot Air Balloon Mini Glow' in Jefferson Aug 14

I love Hot Air Balloons and it's back on! Saturday, August 14 you will want to check out the 'Hot Air Balloon Mini Glow' in Jefferson, Texas hosted by the Jefferson Texas Chamber of Commerce and Tourism. This event was canceled back in June due to bad weather but it's been rescheduled.

Hot air balloons are beautiful to see in the air but to get up and close to one that is on the ground is an amazing sight to see especially when they are lit up at night.

The event will begin Saturday evening at 5:30 and the 'Glow' will begin at sunset where you'll see the balloons light up the Jefferson sky. You can also take a tethered ride up to 20 feet for just $20. There will be bounce houses for the kids and music, plus food trucks with food for purchase. Be sure to bring your lawn chairs and coolers.

I've had the chance to ride in a balloon three times! And yes each time it was awesome! Once the balloon is up, it's amazing how quiet it is when the balloon is just floating. You can even hear dogs barking on the land below.

The Hot Air Balloon Mini Glow will be taking place at the Cypress River Airport located at 270 Cypress River Road in Jefferson, Texas.
