About Runnin' WJ Ranch

Runnin' WJ Ranch's mission is to enhance the quality of life for individuals with special needs, and those who are challenged with disabilities and/or situations in their lives, through equine-assisted activities. They are the only therapeutic riding center within a 100-mile radius of Texarkana. Each week, students from local schools make a field trip to The Ranch for an hour of riding. The riding program helps the students with their physical, emotional, cognitive, academic, and social needs. For many, this is the only field trip they will receive the entire school year which is why it’s so special to them and their families. We never turn a student away due to the inability to pay.

Mallard Pond Subdivision, Texarkana’s newest subdivision, boasts a beautiful, gated entrance, inviting lighted streets, gorgeous, wooded lots, and a beautiful central lake.
