Register Now for the Dash For Cash 5K

Register now for Dash for the Cash put on by the Texas High School Volunteers in Public Schools (VIPS). They will host their second annual event Saturday, October 31, at 9AM.

Featured events include a 5K run/walk and a one mile Tiger Cub Fun run/walk. Following the race, there will be a Tiger celebration for participants and families featuring fitness, children’s event, food and fun.

The start/finish of the race will be at the Texas High School track/baseball field. Race participants will enjoy the course, which winds through the Spring Lake Park area then brings them back for a fun post-event finish. All proceeds from the race will benefit the THS VIPS scholarship fund.

“It is our hope that Dash for Cash will become an annual event which will support and further the education of our Texas High School graduates,” said Christy Paddock, Chairman. “In addition to raising scholarship funds, this event will bring the entire district together to celebrate fitness, exercise and community support. I invite everyone to come join us.”

Registration is now open and participants can register easily online at www.signmeup.com. Registration forms are available for pick-up from the TISD Administrative Office, 4241 Summerhill Road from 8AM – 4PM, Monday through Friday.
