Post Malone Sells Out First Crocs Collaboration in 10 Minutes
Although the standard footwear collaboration between rappers and brands usually falls into the sneaker category, it doesn’t come of too much of a surprise that Post Malone had something else in mind.
After posting his appreciation for Crocs on Twitter earlier this summer, writing “U can tell a lot about a man by the Jibbitz in his Crocs,” the brand reached out to the "Sunflower" rapper to talk shop. Months later, the rapper’s first official collaboration with the brand came to fruition—and it sold out in an impressive ten minutes.
The design for Post’s Dmiriti Clog collaboration features six custom-designed Jibbitz™ charms, including one for his “Stay Away” tattoo and his own logo, as well as an all-white silhouette with a patterned baby devil.
The shoes retailed for $59.99 and were made available for sale earlier today (Nov. 2). While the collaboration promptly sold out, the website reassures fans this won’t be the last opportunity to snag a pair of the custom designed shoes.
“If you like something, go get it,” the "Psycho" rapper shared speaking on the collaboration in a press statement. “I wear Crocs everywhere from the bar to the stage and I felt it was the perfect collaboration to get together with Crocs and give the fans what they’ve been asking for.”
Take a look at the design below and keep an eye out for updates regarding the new partnership via Crocs.
