Police Investigate Stabbing, Shooting at Texarkana Apartment Complex

Texarkana, Texas Police are investigating a domestic disturbance at a local apartment complex in which a woman was shot and a man was stabbed Monday morning.

Authorities were called to an apartment complex in the 400 block of Westlawn Drive yesterday, May 16, on a domestic disturbance call. They arrived to find a female with a gunshot wound. They also discovered a male who had a stab wound. Both individuals were taken to a local hospital with non life threatening injuries, according to police.

Police detectives are investigating what led to the domestic dispute and violence. Several suspects are being interviewed. However police have not released the the names of anyone involved in the incident and the investigation continues this morning.
