A week after gifting us with 2019's best meme, Pete Davidson addressed his relationship with Kate Beckinsale publicly for the first time. During the "Weekend Update" segment of Saturday Night Live last night (March 9), the comedian gave his reactions to the recent R. Kelly sexual abuse case and Michael Jackson molestation accusations made in the new HBO documentary, Leaving Neverland. After that discussion was over, co-anchor Colin Jost asked if there was anything else he wanted to talk about.

"Not like a new girlfriend situation at all, Pete?" he asked.

"Oh yeah," Davidson said before acknowledging the 20-year age difference between him and the British actress. "Apparently, people have a crazy fascination with our age difference. But it doesn't really bother us. But then again, I'm new to this."

"So if you have questions about a relationship with a big age difference, just ask Leonardo DiCaprio, Jason Statham, Michael Douglas, Richard Gere, Jeff Goldblum, Scott Disick, Dane Cook, Derek Jeter, Bruce Willis, Harrison Ford, Tommy Lee, Alex Baldwin, Sean Penn, whoever the president of France is, Mel Gibson, Billy Joel, Mick Jagger, Sylvester Stallone, Eddie Murphy, Kelsey Grammer, Larry King, Larry King, Larry King, Rod Stewart and Donald Trump," he continued, listing off men who have been in relationships with women 10 to 50 years younger than them.

The 25-year-old and 45-year-old first sparked dating rumors when they were spotted getting cozy at a Golden Globes afterparty and all but confirmed those thoughts with some rather intense PDA at a hockey game earlier this month.

A source close to Beckinsale admitted she "loves the attention" both from Davidson and the media. This isn't the first time she's courted a younger man. She also dated comedian Matt Rife, who's 22 years younger than her, in 2017. When asked if he had any words of advice for Davidson, Rife cautioned him to "run."

Yikes.
