Have you always been interested in how our police departments are run? You can get the inside scoop and a sneak peek at what law enforcement does in our community. The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department recently announced they will have their 5th Annual Citizens Police Academy starting next month.

My husband and I went through this program a few years back and we highly recommend it! The Citizens Police Academy is a seven-week program. It will give you a working knowledge of the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department.

This program not only lets you see the inside workings of the department but also increases the relationship between Texarkana citizens and the police officers who serve them.

The TAPD posted on their Facebook page:

We are ready to kick start 2022 into a great year with our Community. We are excited about sharing a day in the life of a police officer with you. Also, giving you a look into other instrument people that make our agency operate daily.

The classes start on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM and every Tuesday evening until Graduation from the academy on March 15.
