Lashana Lynch is set to play the first female 007 in James Bond movie history in an upcoming Bond film, the Daily Mail reports.

Lynch will reportedly play 007, code name Brava, in the upcoming film, Bond 25.

Sources close to the film’s production claim that the rewrite of the script will introduce audiences to Lynch as 007.

At the end of the last Bond film, Spectre, the audience found James Bond (played by Daniel Craig) living in Jamaica.

The source reported that “there is a pivotal scene at the start of the film where M [played by Ralph Fiennes] says, 'come in 007', and in walks Lashana, who is black, beautiful and a woman.”

Lynch previously played Maria Rambeau in Captain Marvel alongside Brie Larson.
