Interstate 30 Westbound in Bowie County in Northeast Texas was backed up for hours this morning following a traffic accident involving several 18 wheelers. The accident clogged westbound lanes near the 190 mile marker around 6:30 am. It took a number of hours to get the roadway cleared during the rainy morning.

Texas side city council to get a few questions answered before they hire a firm to help them search for a new city manager. The council last night put off a vote until Mondays meeting to get some things cleared up before the process begins.
Texarkana Texas Police say they have arrested a 30 something year old man they say is homeless and commited an aggravated robbery. The incident dates back to November 9th on Meadows Drive. Officers located the suspect this week in the 1300 block of College Drive. The suspect allegedly had two pistols, narcotics and money inside his vehicle when apprehended. The man has been booked into the Bi-State Justice Center Jail with bond set at $207,000.

The Dallas Cowboys have placed back up Quarterback Jon Kitna on injured reserve due to a back injury. Kitna who backs up starting QB Tony Romo hurt his back during a game in November.
