In Texas there are many different types of soda available to one in the state. Of course everybody loves Dr. Pepper, but variety is the spice of life after all. Recently, some Coca-Cola's in the state of Texas have a yellow cap, but what does it mean?

Why Are Cokes With Yellow Caps Being Sold?

We've all seen Coca-Cola with different colored caps. Sometimes, these colors indicate the flavor or the drink, or a special edition of the drink. That second part rings true for these yellow caps. The yellow caps are seen for a short amount of time as well.

As revealed by Business Insider, these yellow capped caps are helping Jewish individuals in Texas commemorate Passover. How is does it help you ask? The high-fructose corn syrup inside the drink is switched with sucrose.

How Does This Help With Passover?

Per Business Insider, "leavened foods or foods with leavening ingredients made from barley, rye, oats, wheat, or spelt," is considered "chametz." This means Jewish individuals cannot partake in consuming items such as the ones listed above while Passover is happening. To help with both sales and the observance of the holiday, the drink is released with the change so they can still enjoy it.

But, this special coke isn't just bought by Jewish people, but others in the the state as well! Others have purchased the drink for a chance to see with it tasted like before the ingredient switch.

But you better be quick, because this drink will disappear soon!
