Prediction For Texas Summer In 2025 Includes A Lot Of Heat
The state of Texas is famous for many things, but the weather is certainly known by many. Is the 2025 summer for the Lone Star State going to be hot? Predictions have come out to see what will happen.
When Does Summer Begin In Texas?
Per the Old Farmer's Almanac, June 20th of 2025 is when the hottest season of the year is set to begin. If one wants to be more specific, June 1st is the beginning of meteorological summer. So, that's when Texans might hear their AC units begin to run more often.
But how exactly does the Almanac make its predictions? Three major factor are used to do so:
- solar science
- climatology
- meteorology

So with these three factors, it's time to answer the fated question:
How Hot Will The 2025 Summer Be In Texas?
Well for June, it seems like patterns won't be any different from normal years. There might be a slight change here and there, but it won't be too bad. However, for July and August, temps will ramp up considerably. So much so that records could be possibly be broken.
So what does that mean for the state of Texas? Well the almanac predicts that the Lone Star State will potentially see temps 4 degrees higher than the average. So, that isn't the best.
But about rainfall for the state? Well, that's not looking not good either. As reported by the almanac, rainfall is going to below average.
Let's hope the almanac is wrong and Texas is cooler than predicted!
