Let’s talk about two of my favorite things: breakfast food and hole-in-the-wall restaurants. I don’t know about you, but I could eat breakfast any time of the day. And there’s nothing like having a great meal at a cafe that flies under the radar.
I just love it when I discover a new place to try, and thanks to the Daily Meal’s list of the top hole-in-the-wall breakfast spots in each state, I have a new place to add to my ever-expanding restaurant bucket list. I realize I’ll probably never check every joint off the list, but the way I see it, that’s a great problem to have.

Exploring Lower Greenville: A Foodie’s Paradise
It’s been a long time since I’ve hung out in the Lower Greenville area of Dallas. As someone who loves to grab a good meal and then belly up to a bar for a few drinks, there’s a lot to love about Lower Greenville. It’s a walkable neighborhood with a ton of bars and top-notch restaurants.
And I’m thinking a stop at John’s Cafe is in order the next time I’m in that neck of the woods. After taking a look at their Instagram page, it appears you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, but their breakfast looks amazing. It’s no wonder they were named the top hole-in-the-wall breakfast spot in the Lone Star State.
