
Texas Judge Upset Over Man’s Farter Shirt in Courtroom
Now, I love a good t-shirt pun as much as the next guy. Especially if it's flatulence-related. There's really nothing like a good fart joke. But there is a time and place, my man. Video footage posted to the 252nd District Court’s YouTube page shows a man showing up in Judge Rachel West's courtroom with a shirt that reads "World’s Best Farter." Texas Man’s Farter Shirt Sparks Courtroom Scolding
Look, most people try to look their best when appearing in front of a judge in the hopes that a spiffy appearance could possibly sway the judge into giving you a less harsh sentence. In fact, most courtrooms have a fairly strict dress code. But as far as policing the words that are on a t-shirt? Do we not have First Amendment rights? Is this not 'murica?

At the end of the day, the guy didn’t get in trouble, but he probably won’t wear that shirt to court again. Just a reminder for all of us: when in doubt, maybe leave the fart jokes at home.
