Want Revenge On Ex For Valentine’s? This Texas Zoo Can Help
So, the person you thought you would spend the rest of your life with has crossed the line and left you broken-hearted with no Valentine to celebrate this year?
Hold your horses there. You can still be part of the Valentine's Day party, even if it's from across the table!
As they've done for the past several years, the San Antonio Zoo is all about helping you with some passive aggressive Valentine's Day revenge on the one who broke your heart!
This might just be exactly what your therapist ordered! It's the San Antonio Zoo's "Cry Me a Cockroach" fundraiser!
According to the San Antonio Zoo website, you can release all your anger and hurt on the one that brought on the pain by symbolically naming a cockroach after your ex, and on Valentine's Day, they'll serve it up as a treat to one of their animals! And it's only $10!
They'll even take things a step further if you're up for an upgrade. If the ex was a real snake, the zoo will name a pre-frozen rat after them and then feed it to a reptile for just $25.
If you're not feeling so aggressive, but still want to get the message across to someone like a roommate who won't ever pick up after themselves, you could choose the "Veggie Option" for only $5.
Maybe this doesn't tell that ex everything you'd love to say, but it certainly lets them know that a reunion is highly unlikely, and you'll be helping the zoo at the same time, so there's that.
