
Abbott Releases 2026 “Report to the People of Texas”
Governor Greg Abbott has released his 2026 Report to the People of Texas, highlighting key accomplishments from 2025 and outlining priorities for the year ahead.
The report is issued during non-legislative years when no formal State of the State address is given. This marks Abbott’s sixth report since taking office in 2015.
In a statement, the governor emphasized Texas values and future growth, noting that the state will continue working to build a stronger and more prosperous future for the next generation.
