
A&M-Texarkana Honors 224 Graduates at Fall 2025 Commencement Ceremony
Congratulations to Texas A&M University–Texarkana as they marked a major milestone on Friday, December 5. The University held its 105th commencement ceremony inside the Lois & Cary Patterson Student Center on campus.
Family, friends, faculty, and staff were on hand to celebrate the 224 undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students who completed their degrees during the Fall 2025 semester.

A Day to Celebrate Hard Work and Achievement at Texas A&M - Texarkana
A&M–Texarkana President Dr. Ross Alexander told the graduates that this is a time to honor and be proud of the work they have done to reach such a special day. He also stated in the press release,
I'm confident that the degrees they have earned will serve them well across their lifetimes, and we all look forward to watching them soar.
Fall Commencement Address by Dr. James Henry Russell Inspires Graduates
The Fall 2025 commencement address was delivered by Dr. James Henry Russell, Chief Financial Officer at The Arnold Companies and a proud A&M–Texarkana alumnus. A former public-school superintendent and college president, Dr. Russell spoke about hard work, lifelong learning, lifting others up, and the importance of caring for both family and oneself.

77% earned their bachelor’s degrees
20% earned their master’s degrees

13% (29 students) from the College of Nursing, Health, and Human Services
16% (36 students) from the School of Professional Education and Community Engagement
