Texarkana is gearing up for a red, white, and blue party in downtown Texarkana on Saturday. November 8, 2025, to honor our veterans and the legacy of Lt. Col. Don Ruggles.

This all-day event will feature the annual Veterans Day parade starting at 11 AM on Broad Street and Hazel Street. Bring your American flags to wave as Texarkana salutes all our veterans who have fought and sacrificed their lives for the liberties and freedoms we enjoy today.

Plenty of Great Food at Front Street Festival Plaza, Downtown Texarkana

Front Street Festival Plaza will come alive with food trucks, Underground Pizza, The Lemon Maid, Mama Nem Mobile Kitchen, C&C Concessions, Big Back Shack, Taco Shellz, Bam Bam BBQ, desserts from Chloe's Corner, and Libertea House.

An Exciting Evening With Foreman, Arkansas's own native son, Tracy Lawrence

There will also be a kids' zone and live entertainment leading up to an exciting evening on the Michelob Ultra Stage with a legendary performance from country music star Tracy Lawrence. It's been a long time since Tracy has performed in his home area, and you can bet he will be amped up to perform for his friends and family in attendance.

NOTE: No lawn chairs allowed in the Concert Pit Area in front of the stage. VIP tickets, Party Pitt tickets, and Family Packs have already sold out. Only a limited number of  General Admission tickets remain for this concert.

Jessie Jenkins and Friends Hit The Michelob Ultra Stage at Festival Plaza

Special guest opening for Tracy Lawrence will be local favorite Jesse Jenkins Band at 7 PM. Tickets must be purchased for the show inside the secured gates, or can be purchased in advance online at tracyintexarkana.com.

This special concert is a musical salute to every veteran—especially Lt. Col. Don Ruggles, the Army aviator who founded LifeNet and flew mercy missions for decades.

An After Patriotic Party With The Dusty Rose Band

An after-party concert will take place outside the front gate following the Tracy Lawrence concert from Texarkana's Dusty Rose Band.
