Texarkana, Arkansas police were busy last Wednesday evening, December 14, around 7:41 pm, they received a call about a theft at the Ulta Beauty Supply in Texarkana, Texas.

The police were given information about items that were stolen. Shortly afterward according to a TAPD press release;

Officer Marcos Luna encountered a white Chevrolet Malibu in the 1700 block of East 47th Street in Texarkana, Arkansas. The vehicle began to flee from Officer Luna. A vehicle pursuit ensued with speeds up to 133 mph. Officer Luna witnessed the suspects throwing items out the window of their vehicle while fleeing. The suspects were stopped at Tall Oaks Street and Water Oak Street intersection in Texarkana, Arkansas. Once contact was made with the suspects, all vehicle occupants were arrested.

Officers were able to retrieve over $6,000 of items that were stolen from Ulta Beauty Supply in Texarkana

The 4 females and one male are from Shreveport, Louisana. The Texarkana Arkansas Police arrested; 22-year-old Deja Hunter, 21-year-old Kayla Jones, Romekia Robinson, also 21 years old, Kyshawn Winston a twenty-three-year-old male and Marquina Capers a twenty-three-year-old female.

All five were booked into the Miller County Jail where they are awaiting their court appearance.

Along with the stolen items, police also found a firearm inside the vehicle.
Charges between all five suspects include Fleeing by Vehicle, Theft by Receiving with a Value Greater than $5,000, Tampering with Evidence, Obstructing Governmental Operations, and Possession of a Firearm by Certain Persons.
