Stabbing Investigation Uncovers Drugs, Firearms, and Warrants in Texarkana
A stabbing investigation in Texarkana, Arkansas, led to multiple arrests and the discovery of illegal drugs and firearms after officers responded to what was initially reported as a violent domestic disturbance.
Officers Respond to Reports of Stabbing
According to the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department, officers learned around 7:30 a.m. on Friday, July 24, that a stabbing victim had arrived at a local hospital seeking treatment. Investigators figured out that the incident happened at a home in the 2600 block of Short Kniffen Street.
Police were also told a possible second stabbing victim remained inside the home and that the suspect was armed with a handgun and had threatened to shoot people at the home.
Emergency Entry Made at Residence
When officers arrived, they could hear an argument going on inside the home. After receiving no response at the door, officers entered out of a concern that someone inside might need immediate medical attention.

Inside, officers found 32-year-old Briuana Soloman and 32-year-old Trevon Ford. Authorities say Ford did not require medical care but was found to have outstanding felony and misdemeanor warrants. Soloman was arrested on a charge of First-Degree Battery.
Search Warrant Uncovers Drugs and Firearms
Detectives later obtained a search warrant for the residence while investigating reports of a knife and firearm connected to the incident. During the search, officers discovered narcotics, two firearms, and drug paraphernalia.
Both Ford and Soloman now face multiple charges, including simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, possession of controlled substances with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, and firearm-related offenses. Soloman also faces additional charges of First-Degree Battery and First-Degree Terroristic Threatening.
Quick Response Praised
The department said the coordinated and quick response not only addressed the immediate threat but also led to the seizure of narcotics and firearms that could have posed a danger to the community.
