Temporary Lane Closures Begin Monday in Texarkana
People traveling to work on Monday can expect some delays as road construction will hamper their travels.
Road Repairs and Closures
Starting Monday, April 22, the City will be performing pavement maintenance work from 8:30 am – 2:30 pm at the intersections of W 40th Street and Summerhill Road, and College Drive and Summerhill Road.
During this time, temporary outside lane closures on Summerhill Road may be expected near the intersections. Contractors will maintain traffic on side streets and ensure proper signage and traffic control at all times.
In addition, starting Tuesday, April 23, the Canadian Pacific Kansas City Railroad will be performing a temporary lane closure on the westbound lane of W 40th St at the railroad underpass to perform scheduled maintenance. This work is expected to last from 7:00 am-2:00 pm., proper traffic control and flaggers will be onsite to direct traffic.
