The 48th Annual Hope Watermelon Festival August 8-10, 2024, is proud to present multi-award-winning country artist Rodney Atkins as the musical headliner at this year's festival.

Atkins rose to country music stardom during the late 90s and early 2000s with a string of hits that includes six Number One singles, eight Top 5 singles, and 3.8 billion career streams. The most notable hits are "If You're Going Through Hell (Before The Devil Even Knows), "Watching You," " Farmer's Daughter," "Take a Back Road," "These Are My People," " Caught Up in the Country," "Cleaning This Gun," and "It's America."
Born in Knoxville, Tennessee Rodney Atkins has sold over 11.4 million albums worldwide, and earned ten career Gold Platinum, and Multi-Platinum RIAA certifications. He continues to be one of the most-played male artists on country music radio for decades. Atkins has won numerous awards such as the Top New Male Vocalist of the Year at the ACM Awards in 2006.
