It's almost certain that regions in Texarkana and the  Ark-La-Tex with significant ice and snow accumulations will most likely lose power during the winter storm, which is expected to last through Sunday night.

Power Crews Are on Standby for the Restoration of Power If It Goes Down

With frigid record cold temperatures expected to last through Wednesday, it's highly unlikely the ice and snow will stick around. Depending on how many downed power lines and trees there are in the area, it could take several days before the power is fully restored.

According to company officials, all power crews are on standby and ready to roll once the storm passes. People should remain patient during this process. If you need to track power outage information, most public utilities and electric cooperatives in the region have websites.
