Old Abandoned Mansion in Arkansas Will Give You The Creeps
Have you ever been traveling down a road in Arkansas and run across an abandoned home that looks like it could be the setting for a horror movie?
Historic Southern-Style Mansion
This is the time of the year when things get spooky, Urban Exploring with Kappy on YouTube is known for finding some of the creepiest homes in Arkansas. For safety concerns, we won't tell you the location only that it was built in 1903, was owned by a prominent doctor, and was placed on the National Register of Historic Homes in the late 80s and 90s. Unfortunately, the property has been abandoned for over 20 years. This doctor's name wouldn't be Doctor Strange, would it?
WARNING: Under no circumstances should you enter this property. By doing so you risk bodily harm and/or prosecution for trespassing on private property.
The home with tall columns had a porch added in 1917.
The eerie front entrance of the home looks like something you would see in the Texas Chain Massacre movie.
Once stepping inside the home notice the huge staircase to the left leading to the upstairs bedrooms. Is that blood on the post? No, it's pink paint.
The main living room has a fireplace as well as some of the other rooms but it's a shame that the main fireplace mantle was ripped off.
One of the upstairs bedrooms has peacock wallpaper.
Notice the Christmas lights still attached to the front porch banister.
Here's another view of the purple room
I can imagine what it must have felt like during the cool fall season to sit on a rocking chair on this once glorious porch.
It's sad to think that vandals have destroyed this property but since this video was posted I am hoping that this grand old mansion has been restored.
