Texarkana Arkansas Police arrested a man on Saturday, June 1 after an incident Friday night outside Whiskey River. 

 

Around 11 PM Friday night the police were called to the club located at 310 E. 49th Street in Texarkana Arkansas.

According to the TAPD press release,

Witnesses at the bar informed the officers that the suspect, later identified as Sean Barrett, had attempted to enter the establishment but was denied entry by the security staff. Security personnel then escorted Barrett to the parking lot where he entered his white GMC pick-up truck. Barrett proceeded to drive his truck towards the entrance of the bar where the victim and security members were present.

Barrett allegedly fired his gun from his truck and the bullet struck someone in the foot. then Barrett fled the scene. The victim was treated at a local hospital for a non-life-threatening foot injury.

The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department's Criminal Investigation Division Detectives investigated the crime scene and found probable cause to issue an arrest warrant for Sean Barrett.

Sean Barrent turned himself in on Saturday morning at 10:30 AM on June 1. TAPD officers quickly arrested him and has been charged with Battery 1st Degree and Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm from a Vehicle.
