Get Your Grill On! Magnolia Blossom Festival + Championship Steak Cook-off
Now that May has finally arrived in Arkansas, several festivals are beginning to take hold in the Natural State. One festival you need to put on your bucket list is in Magnolia.
2025 Magnolia Blossom Festival
This has become one of my favorite festivals, starting in 1950 as a Sidewalk Art Show and blooming into one of the South's premier festivals. The Magnolia Blossom Festival was launched in 1989 along with the World Championship Steak Cook-off. The event is held in the Historic Downtown Square in Magnolia on May 16-17, 2025.
2025 World Championship Steak Cook-off
Families and grillers come from across the country to compete in the World Championship Steak Cook-off. The food smells so delicious as folks walk around the town square shopping at the vast array of cute little shops and enjoying the festive atmosphere and attractions. Toward the end of the day, visitors can purchase tickets to eat steak from the many grillers on hand. Tables and chairs are spread throughout the square where family and friends gather to dine under the huge, beautiful Magnolia trees.
Parade of Cookers - Saturday, May 17
You don't want to miss the Parade of Cookers! The parade begins at 10 AM at University Plaza and makes its way down Main Street to Magnolia Square, where the cookers set up for the steak cook-off competition.
Prince Tribute Band - Free Admission
The party gets kicked off on Friday night, May 16, with live entertainment from Purple Madness, America's #1 Prince Experience Band.
