Keep Texarkana Beautiful (KTB) is gearing up to host its "Fall Sweep" event, offering residents a chance to clean up their neighborhoods and enhance the overall appearance of the community. The event will take place on Saturday, September 28th, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and is part of the larger Keep Texas Beautiful initiative, which KTB recently joined as an affiliate.

Volunteers from the City of Texarkana, Texas, and local residents will work together at various project sites across town. The event encourages everyone to come out and contribute to the beautification of the city's roadways and public spaces. Several neighborhoods, including Beverly, Rosehill, New Town, and Liberty-Eylau, have been selected for focused cleanup efforts, with roll-off dumpsters provided at each site to collect bulk waste and trash.

The cleanup locations are as follows:

  • Rosehill: Community Center (1303 Milam St)
  • New Town: Polly Chapel Baptist (2123 Spruce St)
  • Beverly: Community Center (901 Lumpkin St)
  • Liberty-Eylau: Findley Park
