The Texarkana Arkansas School District has named Jerry Littleton as the new head football coach for the Razorbacks at Arkansas High School.

Littleton brings nearly 20 years of coaching experience and a strong record of building competitive programs. Most recently, he served as head varsity football coach and athletic director at Fouke High School, where he led the Panthers to four straight winning seasons and four consecutive state playoff appearances.

From 2022 through 2025, his teams posted a 28-13 record and hosted the school’s first home playoff game since 1988. He also helped establish the school’s golf program, which won three consecutive conference championships from 2023 to 2025 and captured the 2025 AAA State Championship.

A Familiar Face Returns to TASD

Littleton previously worked in the district from 2008 to 2019 as an assistant varsity football coach and ninth-grade head coach. During that time, Arkansas High football finished as 6A State Runner-Up in 2010 and 2011, and the girls track program earned multiple 6A state championships.

“Coach Littleton understands the tradition, pride, and expectations that come with Razorback athletics,” said Dr. Jackson. “We are excited to welcome him back and look forward to the leadership he will bring to our football program.”

Congratulations, Coach Littleton, we're all looking forward to year one.
